I'm heading to Picton with some buddies to skydive and we're planning a BBQ at the dropzone. The last time I organised this it was a great social day for everyone, even non-jumpers.
If you've ever wanted to skydive then here's your chance to get a taste of this exhilarating activity. For first timers you'll be attached to a highly trained and experienced tandem master. You'll freefall from 14000 feet and the expert attached to you will take care of everything. For those that have already done a tandem skydive, I highly recommend booking yourself into ground school and learn how to jump solo. The ground school is held on the same day.
Push yourself out of your comfort zone and share an incredible experience with friends. Take in amazing views of the ocean, blue mountains, Wollongong and Sydney while falling at 220km/h and being so scared your heart is beating out of your chest. After deployment you'll experience a peaceful glide under canopy giving you more time to absorb the experience.

The best way to do this is to just show up, then book and pay when we get there. There is no pressure on anyone to jump and non-jumpers are more than welcome. Come watch or provide moral support for friends. They have full gas BBQ facilities and even a shop to buy food if needed.
The dropzone is 1 hour outside of Sydney at the Hume Hwy - Picton exit. The best way to get there is by car but we have several cars going and many seats available.
The tandem price is $275 if you come with the group and is great value compared to other places.
